It was very close to Joshua Tree and walking distance to the small town of Joshua Tree. The Motor Inn looked so cute in the pictures on line. But that is not what we got. Looks like the grounds have note be maintained at all. Weeds, a dead weedeater, broom just laying on the ground. I would not stay again nor would I recommend.

Excellent! Great place to go with school-aged kids. In addition to the park we went to Sky's the Limit at night for the telescopes, which was amazing. We enjoyed Crossroads Cafe and Rib Co. for food. Definitely would return!

High points: at the end of one of the two main roads you'll find Keys View. stunning view into the valley. We arrived about an hour before sunset and it the light was perfect! Take the Barkers Dam trail and on your way back head over to the petroglyphs. Continue on, around the rock face, and you'll find another amazing view of a valley full of Joshua trees.
Park staff were very friendly and helpful. Be forewarned, all toilet facilities are outhouses. They have them all over the park, but the ones at the campgrounds get heavier use.
We were there for two days and got to see the highlights. We went in early March and the weather was cool (68 deg) and sunny. Park wasn't too crowded. But we went on a Monday and Tuesday. It's easy striking distance from LA so beware of weekend crowds.

Beautiful scenery and places to hike in February and cooler times, but it would be too hot to hike in the prime of summer.
There should be some cafes or at least a couple simple restaurants in the park and there were none. There were barely enough vault toilets to accomodate all the visitors within the park, and they were sadly not very clean or pleasant.

This is a true wonder with fantastic sunset views over Coachella valley, and with stunning granite roc formations. Try it ideally outside of long weekends as this is a bit bothering to see more cars than trees 😀.

I loved all of the thrift stores and the outdoor market was wonderful too. Fantastic places to eat like Crossroads Cafe and see live music like Pappy and Harriet's. Fun sights to see like the crochet museum and art galleries throughout the town. Beautiful national park, absolutely gorgeous place to take photographs, especially at dusk when the silhouettes of the joshua trees stand out against the setting sun. Stargazing is mesmerizing in the park at night, but also very satisfying from anywhere in town. Easy to navigate and walk around town.
Great property in a great location. So peaceful yet not fully isolated as it close to the Joshua tree centre and national park entrance. The property was really spacious for 5 adults staying for the weekend. Lovely outdoor space where we spend the majority of the weekend using the BBQ and relaxing outdoors in the shade.
Everything was made easy to check in and lots of lovely touches in the property to make it a comfortable stay.
This place is a quiet serene getaway that’s a perfect place to enjoy the high desert of Joshua Tree. The property is really nice, very comfortable and was a perfect place to spend a few nights. I brought my dog and both the pool and yard are fenced in which I loved. The sunsets were a good reason to stay alone! The pool was a perfect dip on hot days and the hot tub was amazing and you can see all the stars in the sky!
I had the best time ever in this house, the energy it’s peaceful and it was exactly what we were looking for. The house have everything, a lot of little details that I loved, the owner is super nice and I definitely gonna come back in this house every time I will feel to go to Joshua tree. I def recommend this amazing place!!!!!! Thank you tween palm
We had an amazing time in Joshua Tree thanks to Lee and his beautiful house. Everything was very clean, and we had everything we needed. Lee made sure we would be comfortable in his house and was very responsive. We were only there for one night but we wish we could’ve spent more time in this house. We 100% recommend staying here !
This home had a a great location in Joshua Tree, just off the main road into the National Park! We especially liked the container of filtered water in the frig and the ground coffee and French press. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with essential dishes and cookward.
Overall, this was an excellent property. It was a clean, comfortable, large and fully supplied home in an excellent location for visiting Joshua Tree National Park. It was easy to enter and exit the home and including everything one would want to stay for a few days or weeks.
A spacious room with basic facilities. The motel is very close to Joshua Tree National Park which is great, and there are plenty of places to dine out in the neighborhood. We also managed a day trip to Anza-Borrego Desert State Park from there.
There is nothing positive about this hotel. The staff is rude, not helpful and lied about sending emails to me when he clearly didn’t . Our “room” is not even on the property. There is no pool near the property we are staying at .
The property was very clean and instructions for entry were very clear and easy to understand. There are many little extras that made our stay relaxing and comfortable. The location allows easy access to Joshua Tree National Park.
