Still not sure what I paid? Was charged $50.00 for some deposit that I was told would be refunded and an extra $15.00 for parking that I understood was free.

From my experience, its gorgeous scenery BUT the transportation is antiquated, resulting in higher travel expenses because I had to Uber everywhere.... Rent a car or have alternative transportation set up if you do decide to visit SLO.
Theres only two buses out there that run once an hour.
And one bus on the weekends.

Absolutely beautiful area.
Absolutely beautiful area. Very charming downtown with a wide variety of restaurants and shops. Beaches a short drive away. Highly recommend SLO Provisions for breakfast. El Esquina for a delicious meal. Farmers Market on Thursday nights give a wonderful sense of local products, foods and services. Very easy to walk around downtown. Morro Bay is an easy 20 min away. A beautiful drive. Morro Bay is a charming beach filled with local surfers, people walking their dogs or just hanging out to soak in the waves and surrounding beauty.

Close to downtown, shopping and restaurants to include the famous Madonna Inn. We were there to visit our student at CalPoly. Great amenities for our family. Always nice to have extra space in our room with the living room/dining area.

Very pleasant town with access to beautiful hikes.
Very pleasant town with access to beautiful hikes. Easy to get around. I loved how unique all the different buildings and houses were. Food was only decent, but not terrible. Good breweries, too! Very walkable. The highlight was going to the hot spring resort for their hour-use tubs.

Beautiful place to visit.
Beautiful place to visit. University town with a lovely walkable downtown. Lots of restaurants. Many people biking. Close to Pismo and Avila Beach, Morro Bay (and Rock) and the gorgeous central coast.Always love coming to SLO but it can be very pricey. This was a quick family visit so didn’t eat out much. Always find time for a latte at Scout coffee. If you are on a budget, check out hotel prices in advance prior to choosing dates. Inexpensive places jump to over $200 per night during certain weekends.

We went for an early morning run up the convenient bike path into SLO. We had a great tour of the city on foot and visited the El Camino Real sites and the Mission. We ran back through the hills and had a great view of the surrounding areas. Worth returning to visit. High up on the historic trail.

JUST A BEAUTIFUL ROOM!! LOOKS TO BE BRAND NEW CONSTRUCTION, EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN WITH GORGEOUS MODERN DESIGN, COMFORTABLE BED AND PILLOWS, GREAT LITTLE BALCONY, REALLY HOT SHOWER, BEAUTIFUL LIGHTED MIRRORS, COMMON AREAS ALSO TOP DRAWER, SUPERB CENTRAL DOWNTOWN LOCATION, GREAT RESTAURANTS AND SHOPS VERY CLOSE. SHORT DRIVE TO BEACH. LOVE THE ROOFTOP POOL AND BAR, VERY FRIENDLY, WELL SPOKEN STAFF. I HAVE TRAVELLED ALOT AND STAYED IN MANY NICE HOTELS, BUT THEY ALL PALE IN COMPARISON, REALLY IS A GEM, TOTALLY WORTH IT!
We did not plan to stay in San Luis Obispo, but decided to have a rest stop after a long drive. It was a fast and very good decision to book this hotel. Neighborhood is very quiet and welcoming. The price of the room was very nice considering that it’s California where everything is expensive. Room was big and clean, beds were comfy. I would recommend it for anyone.
The atmosphere at the hostel was just great, warm and welcoming! We were arriving from LA, were everything felt a bit dispersive, so finding this little nest has been fantastic! The position is superb in the nice San Luis Obispo, really close to Pismo Beach and perfect for an exploration along the coast. Ah, Gary, your pancakes are awesome :)
The hotel is pretty with very comfortable and well-appointed furnishings that match the Victorian vibe. The breakfast was very good and creatively fixed. It is very unique in the SLO area as a well put together period hotel - showing what the valley must have been like 100 years ago, but the furnishings and the bathrooms feel fresh.
Cute waterfall hot tub and relaxing pool. Nice picnic area near the pool. Room felt large. You can tell the place was recently remodeled. Close to where we wanted to go. OK for the price. Staff was nice. It's mainly a no smoking hotel so the hallways and room smelled clean. Great for families.
The hotel was quite nice from the lobby, to the grounds to the room. Clean, stylish, comfortable. It was a good value compared to the other hotels we could have chosen. Complimentary breakfast was a plus too
It is a cheap hotel. We just wanted to spend one evening downtown, which was really close by foot. For that it was perfect. The rest was really just basic but ok for one night. It was clean and tidey.
The staff was very friendly and nice. The room overall was a nice and pleasant stay, the water was very warm. The hotel was also located very closely to downtown San Luis Obispo restaurants and all!
We stay in the hotel only for one night on the way to San Francisco. It is a super stop direkt on the highway. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Near to the hotel is a nice Breakfast Restaurant.
The hotel is very well located close to restaurants and shops. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff is friendly. The included breakfast was delicious and varied every morning.
This feels like a bucketlist hotel to go to. The room was great, the steak in the restaurant was great, the elder dancing on the dance floor was amazing. The rest a bit overrated
