My partner and I had a magical stay at Alojamiento Rural Jardín Consentido. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway in the mountains, this is it! We loved spending our days there observing/listening to birds, reading in hammocks with views of the hills, partaking in the exceptional, home-cooked breakfast, and learning about our hosts' home and farm. There were also tons of things to do in and around Jardín, and we found the town to be very accessible without a car. You can get there by foot (about 20 minutes), motochiva (about 5 minutes), or La Garrucha (the local cable car). Reserva Natural Jardín de Rocas was a highlight for us.

Pictures definitely don't do this place justice! It is so beautifully, the views are out of this world - unreal. Our room was so beautiful, very clean. The family that owns this place is run by such amazing and welcoming people, and the breakfast is SO GOOD!! They are also very dog friendly, and they have two peacocks that just run around the property. Wifi is like described in the listing, shower was HOT and getting there is very easy with a tuk tuk. Personally I am super happy, we didn't stay in the city, because the views in this place and on the way there are something you definitely don't want to miss! Cannot recommend this place enough! ♥️🇨🇴🌴

Amazing place! Tranquil setting outside the centre (15,000 in a tuc tuc)The staff were so attentive and it’s the perfect place to unwind. The wifi works brilliantly in the rooms and public areas. Lots of activities like kayaking (25,000 an hour) and micro flight to see Guatepe which is an incredible experience and a must do! Thank you to all the staff for an amazing experience of Guatepe

Soley was very nice and helpful, as were Guau and Gosito, the dogs. She was very kind to suggest and help organize our activities everyday. The accommodation is located 15 minutes walking distance from the centre of town or 4000 pesos tuktuk ride. The rooms are comfortable and have fantastic views. Breakfast was simply great, freshly made every morning and special mention have to be made to their coffee, not your typical coffee, but we loved it. 100% satisfied
