The resort was perfect, the rooms/suites are decorated in a great style, the pool area was great and the staff were fantastic. We had an issue with our door key not working but they quickly came to try and resolve it and moved us to a new suite when it couldn’t be resolved. Great service. Super close to the lake and to restaurants and shops. We wished we had stayed longer than we did and would definitely stay here again on our next visit

The location itself is not exactly picturesque, but the "inn" is very close to Lake Tahoe, so it depends on what you are looking for! The room is equipped with a small microwave and a coffee machine - both were clean (surprisingly considering the room itself!).

South lake Tahoe is a nice place to visit.
South lake Tahoe is a nice place to visit. I love the fresh air and the smell of the Sierras. The restaurants are okay, they try to make you think that they have all this amazing dining experiences, but they're just pretty much mediocre everywhere you go.

It's very difficult to figure out where to go to play in the snow & parking is a nightmare wherever you go. Traffic is bad. The casinos don't even try to entertain you or tease you. The slots just take your money without even stringing you along. The slots totally sucked, especially compared to Indian casinos & that includes all the casinos in South Lake, as well as North Lake.

Wow, haven't been to South Lake Tahoe in about 6-8 years and what a HUGE difference. It's become more commercialized and not as "homey" as it once felt. A lot of the older establishments are out of business with new stuff and construction taking over. The mom and pop restaurants we went to were pretty bad. It's gone down for charm, but up for convenience. Great groceries. Whole Foods, Safeway, Grocery Outlet... few bakeries, but we were shocked at the prices. $4.25 for a bear claw pastry! Still, it's beautiful and still worth the trip. Heavenly ski resort now requires reservations for parking on the weekends. They charge for cars with less than 3 people.

S. Lake Tahoe is fine for those seeking to shop, visit casino, night life however if you want to get away from the crowds and experience nature you are better off finding accommodations on the North side of the lake.

The location is great and close to stores and beach.
The location is great and close to stores and beach. They allowed pet in the area as well and the area is very quiet and safe. The only this we don’t like is no rug for the bathroom and the entrance door. They put a white towel instead. And the window or vinyl were dusty. Overall we love the place and we had a great stay. I would recommend this to family and friends.

First of all, amazing breakfast. One of the best that I’ve had in a hotel. Secondly you almost couldn’t ask for a better location. Right by all the activities and the main walk around for South Lake Tahoe. You can hop on a little scooter and ride a couple blocks down to the beach if you’d like as well. The room was lovely and private with close parking. The room as was also comfortable. The bathroom a little out of date but spacious. The hot tub was comfortable and there are two pools. Outside amenities like cornhole.
The jet tub was huge. We could've had a party in it! The location was awesome, we used the complimentary bikes and rode all the nearby bike paths. Right next door at the ShedCat we had the best food we've had in all of Tahoe. It is away from the overcrowded casino hotels but walking distance to all of the entertainment. It definitely has a better atmosphere than the big hotels, homey and laid back, the nature side of Tahoe vibes.
The hotel itself is very old, but exceptionally clean. We needed to sleep 6, so picked this hotel because it would do the trick.
We didn't expect a separate room for one of the queen beds, which was really a nice surprise. Additionally, we didn't expect a kitchen, which was also nice. It was located just off the main road running through downtown South Lake Tahoe, so very convenient.
Hotel in a lovely location where you could walk to the centre of South Lake Tahoe and to the lake itself (Private beach which is fenced off but access voucher’s available from reception)
Hotel was modern and clean with lovely facilities. Had a swimming pool, boules court, outside fire pits and seating, small kitchen are attached to lobby. Also had curtesy push bikes available to hire.
The hotel was better than I expected. I have stayed at other small hotels around Tahoe and this was a pleasant surprise. Clean, quiet, close to the resort, at a great price. In addition, the staff let me store my luggage after check-in and use their bathroom to change from my ski clothes before taking my flight.
I picked this hotel for my bday trip, since it was a 5hr drive we did ask if we could check in early. When we arrived they checked us in with no charge. This alone made it a 5 star. Also its walking distance from anything like Gondola/casino. Theres like 30 electric scooters if you would like to rent.
Really lovely hotel. We stayed for four nights and almost everything was perfect. The reason I won’t give ten are two items listed below. But let’s focus and the positive things first:
- premium vibe
- heated pool
- adequate breakfast
- rooms were new and of high quality materials
- nice staff
The best about this motel is it’s very good location right in the centre of South Lake Tahoe with close proximity to a private beach (25$ per person though; 10$ after 5pm). The bed was comfy and some amenities such as shower gel and a soap were provided.
My room was clean and had all the amenities that I expected, except for a coffee machine. The location was incredible. Just a short walk to the Main Gondola, restaurants, super market (Raley's), and even casinos on the Nevada border side.
Very dog friendly. The hotel checkin had dog treats and lots of grassy areas for pet relief with dog bags and pail. It was close to the private beach, heavenly village, and casinos. We walked everywhere. Free parking was great too.
The only good thing is that it is close to the center, casinos and beach, everything is a 5 minute walk but the hotel is disgusting and the manager has no character to attend to the costumers
The room was comfortable and clean. Location of the hotel was convenient, as we were able to walk to the nearby shops, casinos, and restaurants. Contactless check-in was easy.
We had the chance to stay in 2 of the lovely
Rooms here at the hotel.
Both were clean and comfortable.
The big bubble baths were great and perfect for a chilly snowy night.
Big and spacious room. Bigger than normal for that price. Very clean also.
The couple that runs the hotel was very nice and helpfull.
Close to the lake and shops etc.
Clean, modern, robes, snacks and little gifts provided. Everything worked and felt new. Large tv vs other hotels. Close to heavenly village and stateline casinos.
